Premium Veranda FAQS
Unlike major competitor systems, Premium Veranda is pre-manufactured for straightforward assembly and installation. No cutting is required.
Drilling:
- Main Wall Profile: 4 x 8mmØ holes per meter into your house wall.
- Column Profiles (Front Pillars): 4 x 13mmØ holes into your floor.
All other assembly can be completed with a drill driver.
For optimal installation, ensure the house wall where the Main Wall Profile will be attached is smooth. Remove any loose pebbles from dry or pebble-dashed walls. Clear any obstructions that might prevent the Wall Profile from being optimally secured.
Premium Veranda utilizes 120mm x 120mm hidden floor connectors in the front pillars for a clean aesthetic, eliminating the need for extensive digging and concrete work. Therefore, the patio should be completed prior to veranda installation.
It is crucial that the floor is level and that the connectors can be anchored to a solid foundation to prevent any movement.
Foundation Specifics:
- Paving Slabs: Slabs should be laid on a suitable concrete pad for stability. The anchors for the floor connectors must be secured through the slabs and into the concrete.
- Decking: Floor connectors can be attached to the deck. However, the fixings, similar to those for paving slabs, must extend through the deck into concrete. If the decking is raised, steel section reinforcing is required, with particular attention to the pillar positions, to ensure the deck can support the additional weight and remain stable.
For any other installation scenarios, we recommend consulting an engineer or builder.
As drilling is kept to a minimum, and no cutting should be required, your installation should remain fairly free from dust and debris. The only section requiring Silicone is between the Wall Profile and your house wall, once the profile is installed (all other junctions where water could be an issue are protected by gaskets and negate the need for silicone).

Insulation Material or other cladding &/or other flooring/substrate?
Please consider the following when installing your Premium Veranda:
- House Wall: If your house wall is clad, alternative fixings will be necessary as the veranda must be secured to the masonry.
- Front Pillars: If the front pillars are mounted on decking or any substrate other than cement, alternative fixings will be required.
- Fixings: Always consult a specialist building supplier for your specific needs and use only stainless steel fixings.
Premium Veranda roofing offers 100% waterproofing, achieved through its airtight dual gasket system, Monoblock leak-proof gutter, and self-sealing screws. This is contingent on careful and correct installation, ensuring the veranda is square and plumb with the house.
It is normal for changes in temperature to affect the air’s moisture content, leading to condensation both inside and outside the roof. This is not an indication of a leak.
Premium Veranda offers superior strength and durability, demonstrated by its high snow load capacity and ability to withstand strong winds. However, it is important to note that rain may enter from the sides depending on the wind direction.
For enhanced comfort and weatherproofing, consider adding Slider Next Infill panels to your Premium Veranda.
Premium Veranda is designed for straightforward, DIY installation, ideal for enthusiasts. A minimum of two people are required for assembly.
A detailed assembly manual is provided and can also be accessed online here.
For those who prefer professional assistance, installation is available through our Authorised Installers. The cost of installation depends on the veranda’s size and your location, with the average price ranging from €1,200 to €2,500.
NB: All necessary wall and ground preparation must be completed by the customer prior to assembly.
Slider Next FAQs
Slider Next profiles are custom-manufactured for your specific opening(s), ensuring straightforward assembly and a simple installation process suitable for any avid DIY enthusiast.
A minimum of two people are required for assembly. No cutting is necessary.
A minimal amount of drilling is required:
- Ø7mm Masonry Holes are needed in the house wall, base, and top (if concrete/block) to secure the Side Profile, Bottom, and Top Profiles.
All other assembly can be completed with a drill driver. A detailed assembly manual is provided and is also accessible online here.
Slider Next includes screws and plugs for concrete and brick installations. For other surfaces, please consult a fastener specialist.
No specialised tools are required, below is the list of what’s needed;

- Sealant Gun & Silicone suitable for exterior use
For best installation, ensure the house wall where the Side Profile will be attached is smooth. If the wall is dry or pebble-dashed, remove any loose pebbles. Clear any obstructions that might prevent optimal securing of the Side Profile.
If the house wall has a corbel, buttress, or base course where the Side Profile will be installed, this section should be removed to line up with the remainder of the wall, or, a piece of Timber/Cladding/Material (Filler Piece) of your choice should be attached to the remaining section of the wall to level and plumb it with these features.
Width of the wall section to be removed, or width of the Filler Piece to match the Side Profile should be 70mm if a 2 or 3 Panel Side (Sides up to 3000mm deep), 92mm if a 4 Panel Side (Sides up to 4000mm), or 115mm (Sides up to 6000mm deep).
The Opening measurement should also be taken from this point.
All Horizontal and Vertical substrates must be 100% plumb and level.
For optimal installation of Slider Next, ensure the opening is smooth, clean, and level, and that the patio is completed beforehand.
A level floor and a solid foundation for anchoring are essential to prevent system movement.
Foundation Guidelines for Slider Next Installation:
- Paving Slabs: For optimal stability, paving slabs should be laid on a level, suitable concrete pad. Slider Next should ideally be secured by drilling through these slabs and into the solid concrete beneath.
- Decking: When attaching Slider Next to a deck, ensure the fixings extend through the deck into a solid timber or concrete substrate. If the decking is raised, consider reinforcing it with steel sections to guarantee it can support the extra weight and maintain stability.
For unique or alternative installation scenarios, we advise consulting with a qualified engineer or builder.
With minimal drilling and no cutting, your installation will be largely free of dust and debris. Silicone should only be required if there are slight gaps between Slider Next Profiles and your substrate(s).
Should you choose the ALL Glass Version, the optional Brush Profile will require a minimal amount of Silicone to hold it in place.
Slider Next is a single-glazed sliding door system.
Its design features a 19mm overlap between panels, which helps reduce the ingress of air, dust, and water. While Slider Next includes an intelligent drainage system, it is not waterproof. The “ALL Isolation Version” offers greater protection from the elements compared to the “ALL Glass Version.”
Optimal system performance is dependent on precise measurements for production, a suitable plumb and level substrate, and careful, correct installation.
Please note that changes in temperature can affect the air’s moisture content, potentially leading to condensation both inside and outside the system.
Slider Next can convert your open pergola or veranda into a versatile, sheltered area, offering protection from rain and wind, aid in heat retention, and preserve the connection to the outdoors.
